# Microtubules and consciousness evidence workflow

This workflow evaluates claims arising from the Popular Mechanics article “Your Consciousness Can Connect With the Whole Universe.” It is designed to keep a measured experimental result separate from downstream interpretation.

1. Preserve the original source and extract only its measured population, intervention, endpoint, controls, and reported result.
2. Identify every inferential step between that result and the headline claim.
3. Add independent methodological sources for the endpoint and independent reviews for the theory.
4. Assign every claim one of: supported, plausible, not-established, or unsupported. Do not use votes or AI output as evidence.
5. Require a direct measurement, operational definition, and independent replication before an interpretation can move beyond hypothesis status.
6. Update the case and Lab with source provenance, a dated revision note, and explicit limitations.

The current case is a draft research record. The companion Lab is a public reading tool, not a published verdict.
